Invitation: Concert Duo Brikcius & Cirkus Giroldón  You are invited to the March concert of siblings
cello Duo Brikcius, held on Friday 14th March 2014, 7.30pm, at the
Cirkus Giroldón (yurt in front or Landronka Restaurant, Tomanova 1,
Prague 6, Czech Republic). Tickets available at the circus ticket office
at the door, 30 minutes before the concert.
Guests of the smallest nomadic theatrical cirque in Europe, cellists, siblings Anna Brikciusová and František Brikcius (Duo Brikcius), will play compositions for two cellos by Italian composer Luigi Boccherini (1743 - 1805), Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini (1792 - 1863) and by Czech composer Leoš Janáček (1854 - 1928). (ONLUS) nasce a Roma nel 1889 grazie a un gruppo di intellettuali
guidati da Giosuč Carducci con lo scopo di "tutelare e diffondere la
lingua e la cultura italiana in patria e nel mondo". I fondatori
intitolarono l’associazione a Dante Alighieri per confermare che in
quel nome si era compiuta l'unitŕ linguistica della nazione.
Il Comitato di Praga č nato nel gennaio 2005 per iniziativa di alcuni entusiasti. Nel giro di pochi anni si č guadagnato le simpatie di centinaia di studenti, oltre al ricevimento di numerosi riconoscimenti da parte della casa madre di Roma. Organizza tutta una serie di corsi linguistici di gruppo e individuali. E' anche l'unico ad avere predisposto un insegnamento specifico di lingua ceca per persone italofone. Ha ottenuto la qualifica di Centro esaminatore PLIDA ed č l'unico nella Repubblica Ceca ad essere autorizzato ad organizzare tali esami. Oltre a svolgere attivitŕ didattiche, organizza convegni, mostre, concerti, scambi culturali e serate d’incontro a tema. Societŕ Dante Alighieri is media partner of the "Festival Brikcius". Call for ... Duo Brikcius & Náš Martinů in Polička  Duo Brikcius is chamber music
ensemble created by two young promising cellists (brother and sister)
Anna Brikciusová and František Brikcius. Both founding members have a
great deal with solo cello repertoire. They both decided to increase
their repertoire with music written for this unusual combination (with
great hidden potential) of two cellos. They will come to Polička to
play music by L. Boccherini, G. Rossini, L. Janáček, B. Martinů, G.
Klein and I. Kosíková. The list of mentioned composers suggests, that
the concert will be covering musical development from classicism till
the hot 21st century.
